Time Machine is an augmented reality iPhone app created for the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, MD. There is limited real estate on the placard for the items on display. I decided to use augmented reality (AR) technology to enrich the visitors experience as well as provide more information. This app can detect what piece the visitor is viewing and overlay new content on top of it, i.e. the original colors painted on an Egyptian relief, x-rays of a wooden Buddha sculpture or completing a broken Mesopotamian tile.
